You're mad as hell. Are you going to do anything about it?
This has been an objectively illuminating, enraging and humiliating week for the American taxpayer. A 23-year old YouTube journalist by the name of Nick Shirley dropped an investigative report on the child daycare and medical transportation fraud taking in Minneapolis, Minnesota by the insurgent Somali community, which has been greatly supported by Democratic leadership in the state and at the federal level. I'm sure most of you have seen the story already and understand the details. If not, you need to get out from under your rock every once in awhile.
Instead of focusing on the details of the story, let's explore the fact that taxation in the United States is nothing more than a humiliation ritual. We are told that paying taxes is our civic duty to make sure that we can have roads, pay for healthcare, veteran services, the military, and a litany of other "feel good" services. In reality, it seems that our tax dollars are being funneled to immigrants and the politicians who brought them in for votes via low-effort fraud schemes that are grotesquely offensive to the sensibilities of every hardworking American who has grown up to believe that they are holding up their end of the social contract that comes with living in this country. I won't pretend like I've ever fully believed in the legitimacy or validity of this "social contract". If you've been reading this rag for long enough you understand that I loathe the federal government. However, I didn't even believe that it was THIS BAD.
Grotesquely offensive. I think that's the only way to describe what has been laid bare over the last week. What's worse, is that for some reason or another, Nick's video was the straw that broke the camel's back. This exact fraud has been reported on multiple times since at least 2018.
How long are we supposed to put up with this? Why the hell should you or I pay taxes to a federal government that is enabling fraud on this scale. We're talking tens of billions of dollars in one state with a surface layer inspection done by a 23-year old Gonzo journalist. The likelihood of the actual fraud being a couple orders of magnitude larger is very high. Minnesota isn't known as an economic powerhouse in the country. On that note, the California State Auditor just released a 92-page report that shows that $70 BILLION in taxpayer funds have been lost. Poof. Gone.
Gavin Newsome and the Communists controlling the state of California are now trying to levy a 5% wealth tax on billionaires to fill the void left by the lost funds. Surely they'll make sure that money isn't lost either. Complete clown world stuff here. Again, grotesquely offensive. And we haven't even begun to dive into New York state, which seems like a good candidate to add 12 figures to the fraud totals.
It's fraud everywhere you look. When all is said and done, when you combine what was unearthed earlier this year with USAID, the Medicaid and Medicare fraud laid bare this week, and the fraud that I guarantee also exists within the military budget, it is likely that the American taxpayer has been pillaged for trillions upon trillions of dollars over the years. American citizens who have been thrown into the economic wood chipper over the last three decades. The wealth gap has widened, quality jobs are harder to find, the politicians enabling fraud have shipped in tens of millions of immigrants to exacerbate the problem and have rewarded them with money taken from the pockets of American citizens, the fertility rate has collapse, and the Common Man is seriously starting to question whether or not America is the greatest country on Earth anymore. It sure doesn't seem like it.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like any amount of voting will get us out of this situation. We have reached the point where civil disobedience is required to fix the problem. The case for a tax revolt has never been stronger. Why should you or I send 30% of our paychecks to Washington D.C. to be allocated in this way? To fund the destruction of our high-trust society, our quality of life and our own replacement? It would be suicidal to continue doing so.
I'm not going to pretend to have a plan for organizing a tax revolt. That's not my skill set. However, I feel what is needed right now is the courage to say this out loud and let others know that you are not alone, you are not insane, and we don't have to live like this. The income tax was supposed to be limited and temporary when it was enacted in 1913. It's been 112 years, has become unbounded and is doing more significantly more harm than good. The incentives of the income tax are such that this was always destined to be the end state.
On top of this, we need to take the control of money out of the hands of central banks and governments. The case for bitcoin has never been stronger. A lot of this fraud is enabled by unfettered money printing and debt expansion, which act as a double whammy to obliterate your wealth alongside taxation.
Do you like being humiliated?
The digital age has created unprecedented challenges for American free speech rights, as foreign governments increasingly attempt to regulate speech beyond their borders. Preston Byrne made a compelling case for why the United States urgently needs comprehensive federal legislation to combat these extraterritorial censorship efforts. The proposed Granite Act represents a crucial step forward in protecting American citizens and companies from foreign speech regulations that conflict with our constitutional principles.

Byrne emphasized that effective legislation must include both defensive shields and offensive civil remedies. The defensive components would prevent foreign censorship orders from being enforced on American soil, while the offensive measures would create meaningful deterrents through civil liability for foreign governments that target Americans with speech restrictions. This dual approach ensures that American free speech principles remain paramount while sending a clear message to authoritarian regimes that attempts to silence American voices will face serious consequences.

Final thought...
I attended the funeral of a neighbor who lived a couple of doors down from us in the house I grew up in and which my mother still lives in. Despite everything described above, small town America is still thriving. There are strong communities out there filled with people who care about there neighbors and will show up in force to support them in times of need. This is the America that I fight for.
