Here's an oldie but a goodie that has been making the rounds this morning; an op-ed posted on LinkedIn during the ramp up of the 2017 bubble mania. The opinion piece was written by Ray Dillinger, one of the two men to review the Bitcoin source code before Satoshi officially published it.

I highly recommend you freaks read through this piece this morning as it acutely highlights just how selfless Satoshi truly was. Especially when compared to the con artists who have created scores of affinity scams in Bitcoin's wake. The man (or group of men) truly just wanted to create a tool that can enable individuals to transact in a peer to peer fashion without any credit (at least up to this point).

Also, Ray's story highlights just how skeptical hard core cypherpunks were about the prospect of Bitcoin's potential success and the fact that it is a huge accomplishment that Bitcoin is still producing block to this day. We live in interesting times, freaks.

On a completely separate note, I wish this diagram was made on Wednesday so I could have better equipped you freaks for the battle of combatting Bitcoin energy consumption FUD at Thanksgiving dinner. Would have been a conversation ender.

Final thought...

Even though I'm allergic to them, this song still bangs.

Enjoy your weekend, freaks.
