As we approach midnight here on the east coast, I thought I'd sneak this short podcast that breaks down the different variables that come into play when mining bitcoin in the Bakken and the Permian. I've had the pleasure of working closely with Tom at Great American Mining learning about the intricacies of mining Bitcoin in different environments. You'd be surprised by how much off-grid mining operations differ depending on where in the world your operations are located. Should your mining container be air cooled? Should you use immersion cooling? The mining industry is an example of ruthless capitalism and I feel very fortunate to be a part of a team on exploring the boundaries of this budding industry.
