Maybe it's because I'm at a family wedding surrounded by my sister, parents, cousins, aunts and uncles. Maybe it's because there have been a number of baby announcements among some of the bitcoiners I follow on Twitter in recent weeks. But I can't help but sit here with a smile as I type thinking about the beauty of Bitcoin and the fact that it provides us with an opportunity and the ability to build a better, more optimistic future for our children.

And that's really what it's all about; making sure that we leave the world a better place for our descendants. This rag does get a bit doom and gloom from time to time, but I do want to stress that the future is very very bright. When we ultimately succeed, we will be giving our children the opportunity to flourish. This is an extremely virtuous cause and it will make the world a better place.

Most importantly, if Bitcoin successfully drives people to lower their time preference we should experience a resurgence of strong nuclear families; the cornerstone of our modern civilized and advanced society. This is a beautiful thing.

Keep pushing!

Final thought...

My cousin Kev and my brother used to fart in empty water bottles, bury them, and dig them up to smell them weeks later. Very interesting experiments they were running back in the day.
